January 18, 2013 Rock to the Rescue is a nonprofit organization founded by rock legends Styx. Their mission is to build strong, healthy communities through the support of grassroots organizations by partnering with local charities along their concert tours to give back. Give to the Music was selected to join Rock to the Rescue and Styx at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, thanks to the efforts of Give to the Music VP, Larry Rankine. Other Give to the Music board members and officers joined Larry in an effort to sell raffle tickets for a guitar signed by the band to be given away at the end of the concert. We are very proud to report that our collaboration with Rock to the Rescue raised the most $$$ ever since Rock to the Rescue began 11 years ago. Our share was $983!
